Her Story

Carlinda obtained a Food Technology degree from Massey University and started her career in Product Development.

This allowed her to understand how products work technically and everything required to create a commercially successful product. (Labelling, pricing, ingredient sourcing, manufacturing process, marketing channels)

Training

Training starts with I’M ALERT – an online standalone course suitable for new staff. Training continues with the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Training, which can be done online or with Carlinda in a day course.

Food Control Plans (FCP)

One hour of Carlinda’s time can help you clarify which MPI National Program 1,2 or 3 , or Template or Custom FCP is most appropriate for your business.

Labels

Carlinda is an MPI registered Food Labelling Consultant. She can make a fully compliant label from your own recipe – Start with a simple Nutrition Information Panel (NIP)

I’M ALERT is a Council approved Interactive, Modular, Awarnemess, Learning, Educational Resource Tool that automatically produces a certificate at the end of training.

I’M ALERT was developed by Australian Food Safety Officers and meets FSANZ Code requirements. It is suitable for all food workers.

The Council Approved Basic Food Hygiene covers additional New Zealand legislation (Food Act 2014 , Food Regulations 2015 and provides more information on how to manage allergens
